BIG BOYS DON’T CRY

Stephen Fry describes it as “a brave and important book, providing a source of comfort and hope to anyone struggling with their mental health.”

We recommend Fabian Devlin and Patrick Addis’ “Big Boys Don’t Cry”. This book “seeks to challenge the stigma of mental illness and encourage men not to man up, but to open up instead” by providing 60 real-life experiences of men and their partners (from all walks of life) who have experienced mental health related issues. More importantly, and helpfully, it provides lots of tips from these men who have experienced, and sometimes continue to experience, depression and other challenges; and they know what has helped.

This is an important book and a great resource and comfort for anyone who is experiencing mental health issues themselves, or within their family.
